University of Iowa College of Law alumni Nathan Frederick (JD04) recently climbed to the peak of Mount Everest. He reached the very top of the planet, gathering a lifetime of memories in ten minutes. Of course, he can’t wait to freeze again. He and Tammy have more mountains to climb as they scale the Seven Summits of the world.

Iowa Law gains the unique expertise of Samantha Barbas, Bethany Berger, Lorraine Gaynor, Kate Melloy Goettel, Megan Graham, Jill Wieber Lens, Hope Metcalf, and James Toomey to the distinguished faculty this fall. New faculty's specialties range from defamation, federal Indian law, legal analysis, immigration law, technology law, reproductive justice, human rights law, and health law.

Iowa Law grads achieve near perfect first-time bar passage rate in Iowa

The University of Iowa College of Law is pleased to announce impressive results for graduates on the Iowa Bar Exam. The first-time bar passage rate for Iowa Law graduates reached an exceptional 98%, with 53 out of 54 first-time test takers successfully passing the exam.
