The Journal of Gender, Race & Justice will be hosting a backpack drive for Inside Out Reentry, a nonprofit here in Iowa City that helps recent incarcerated individuals reenter their respective communities. We will gather backpacks and other resources (hygiene products, etc.) and then donate those materials to Inside Out.

Join us for a screening of the documentary Judging Juries and a panel discussion of fair cross section of the jury-eligible population featuring public defenders Kimberly DePalma and Steve Drahozal, Drake Law professor Russell Lovell, and moderator Lydia Lavrova. Orgnanized by the Citizen Lawyer Program and Federal Criminal Defense Clinic.  Attendance at one Lawyers & Leaders program each semester is one requirement for membership in Iowa Law's Pro Bono Society.
