Iowa Student Bar Association Meeting  

The Peggy Browning Fellowship provides stipends to 1L and 2L students who dedicate their summer to advancing the cause of workers' rights. Join Iowa Law's most recent Peggy Browning Fellow, Justin Rempe, and representatives from the Peggy Browning Fund who will talk about the program, its benefits and the skills you will gain over the summer, as well as the application process.

Our second event of the year is on the election: we will discuss the presidential candidates’ plans and policies. Across the Aisle (a CCC Initiative) is about learning to disagree while remaining friends, colleagues, classmates, and fellow citizens. Small groups of participants with different views will discuss pre-selected, hot-button topics of social and political significance. This is an opportunity to learn how the other side thinks and to develop the tools to respond with civility, charity...

Professor Anderson and 2L Roni Miller will partner up for this presentation. We will cover a few tips and tricks of Microsoft Word that might make your editing easier. We will also discuss a few payed and free resources to spiff up your writing, as well as other resources to help you manage your time and your work.

This meeting will answer questions related to final exams ranging from laptop requirements, Examplify functions, and final exam policies and procedures.
