Biography
Professor Vinita Singh is a visiting assistant professor at the University of Iowa College of Law. Her interests relate to taxation and economic statecraft. Before transitioning to academia, she practiced at Kirkland & Ellis, advising on the tax aspects of international transactions.
Professor Singh received her JD at the University of Iowa College of Law with highest distinction, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. She earned an LLM in National Security Law with distinction from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Her current research project examines the intersection of national security and taxation by exploring the challenges of wielding the law of immunity from taxation to achieve national security goals.
