Oskvig joins a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars who have demonstrated dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and community. Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.

She is a member attorney with the firm Whitfield & Eddy, P.L.C. in Des Moines and chair of the labor and employment practice group.
