Maja's commitment to Pro Bono legal work and to Legal Aid Chicago began four decades ago. She was also selected to become Sidley Austin's liaison to Legal Aid Chicago and its Children's Rights Project. Maja has been involved in many projects that are devoted to supporting the best interests of children and families involved in court proceedings alleging abuse and neglect of children. She has also served on Legal Aid Chicago's Board for many years, including serving two terms as Co-Chair.
